  • Lavendel Tide Pools

Perfect for those seeking isolation and solace, especially when Lilium beach becomes too crowded for one's liking. The lesser-known, but still accessible Lavendel Tide Pools provide as such, but a treacherous rock path climb is required for those traveling by the overland path. However, the Tide Pools are also accessible by lakeside, but boats are usually unable to make it too far in without being grounded. As such many students simply swim over, taking care not to step on anything in the process. The Tide Pools play host to some variants of the Lake's marine creatures, especially crayfish and minnows.

Technically, "Tide Pools" are rocky pools formed by oceans, filled with Seawater. In this case, the pools were named as such because of their locale, being situated on a very small flood plain that is completely submerged during high tide. Small pools of water (and their denizens) are then left behind during low tide - hence the name.
